Things To Do Near Our Harrods Car Park
This first one might be very obvious, but of course we can't not talk about Harrods when it is so close to our car park! Harrods dates right back to 1824, when Henry Charles Harrod founded it as a grocery store, with it gradually expanding throughout the 1800's and more and more departments were added over time. The store became one of London's most prestigious over time, being one of the most prominent factors in turning Knightsbridge into a high-profile shopping area in London. Over time the store faced many turbulent events, from fires to bombing attacks, yet it has gone from strength to strength and remains the most iconic department store in London.
With everything from designer fashion to luxury beauty, fine jewellery, incredible food and so much more, you really can spend the whole day exploring this phenomenal example of the fine side of British culture. It just so happens that our Harrods car park is the perfect place to explore from!
Unwind in Hyde Park
Once you have enjoyed everything that Harrods has to offer, enjoy a short walk to Hyde Park where you can unwind after a few hours of retail therapy. Hyde Park provides such great relief from the busy nature of London, and our Harrods car park is just a couple of minutes walk away, so you can head back whenever you are ready. Sometimes after a buddy day some fresh air is just what you need, and our car park is on the side of Hyde Park near the Serpentine Stephen Waterfall, providing the perfect bit of serenity before heading back to your car. Another of our car parks, Bilton Towers car park, is just around the corner too!
Enjoy Lunch In Knightsbridge
Whilst we're talking about what to do around our Harrods car park, we've got to mention the incredible restaurants that are on hand for the most amazing lunch or evening meals. First we have Zuma, an impeccable Japanese restaurant with an informal yet luxury feel, ensuring you fully relax. The food is incredible, along with the interiors and the service, so you know you are going to have a wonderful experience. If you're in the mood for Italian, head to Sale e Pepe, an authentic Italian restaurant serving classic dishes in a traditional trattoria setting. Open for over 48 years, Sale e Pepe continues to be one of London’s most iconic restaurants, and it's just a 4 minute back to our Harrods parking afterwards! You're also really close to our Buckingham Palace parking if you'd like to consider this as an option.
Shop Around Harvey Nicholls
One of the best things about our parking near Harrods is that it is only across the street from Harvey Nichols. This fantastic department store has been around since 1831 when Benjamin Harvey opened his linen shop, on the corner of Knightsbridge. Due to the success of his shop, he then expanded to a house next door and in 1841, hired James Nichols who then became joint owner of this fantastic store. Harvey Nicholes is the ultimate experience for those who love spending money on high-end fashion brands so when you park at our Harrods car park, don't forget to stroll around this fantastic luxury fashion retailer.
